Having lived in Detroit, LA, and Bavaria, and having a brother who lives in Hong Kong, I’ve been lucky enough to see some of the greatest car museums/collections this world has to offer. This past weekend, while on vacation with my family in Iowa, I saw one that surprised me and that I feel compelled to share. I went on vacation this past week to the town of Okoboji, Iowa. Also called the Iowa Great Lakes, it’s a system of Glacier-formed lakes that has created a vacation area for Iowans, Minnesotans and Nebraskans. What was I doing there? My wife’s sister has a place there, and invited us to hang out; as I owe my wife after the WWII Jeep ordeal and I wanted take my son to the midwest for the first time (since that region was so formative to my upbringing), I was keen to take them up on the offer.

Strauss Zelnick, boss of Rockstar parent company Take-Two, has defended the company’s decision not to release GTA 6 on a physical disc, insisting when it comes to big games, discs “don’t really make sense for the consumer.” Speaking during a Q&A with analysts following the company’s Q1 2027 financial release, Zelnick declined to speak specifically about Sony’s controversial decision to kill physical disc production for PlayStation games from 2028, but did say that when it comes to GTA 6, a physical disc version simply doesn’t make sense.

OpenAI president says it’s ‘building a family of devices’ for its AI chatbots - The Verge

In an interview with our friend Joanna Stern on her YouTube channel, OpenAI president Greg Brockman said the company is working on a “family of devices” for interacting with its AI models. However, Brockman didn’t confirm reports that one of those devices is a smart speaker OpenAI’s rumored to be launching in 2027, or earlier rumors that the device might be a wearable like the Humane AI pin.
