Here’s the schedule for the Lakers vs. Thunder playoff series - Silver Screen and Roll
After a hard-fought series against the Rockets, the Lakers will move into the second round against an even more daunting opponent in the Thunder. The cream of the crop for the entire season, Oklahoma City’s sweep of the Suns in the first round means the Thunder have been patiently waiting for their next foe. It also means a rested team awaits the Lakers, to say nothing of them being the defending champions who finished the season with the best record. It’ll be a steep uphill battle for the purple and gold, who also do not have homecourt advantage in the series. They also not only lost the season series to OKC, but were throttled in three of the four meetings. If you don’t feel optimistic about this being a long series, you probably aren’t alone. For as long as this first round matchup goes, we’ll have you covered with the schedule and TV channel or streaming service. All times are listed in Pacific. Game 1 Date and Time: Tuesday, May 5, 5:30 p.m. TV Channel(s): NBC/Peacock Location: Oklahoma City Game 2 Date and Time: Thursday, May 7, 6:30 p.m. TV Channel(s): Prime Location: Oklahoma City Game 3 Date and Time: Saturday, May 9, 5:30 p.m. TV Channel(s): ABC Location: Los Angeles Game 4 Date and Time: Monday, May 11, 7:30 p.m. TV Channel(s): Prime Location: Los Angeles Game 5 (if necessary) Date and Time: Wednesday, May 13 TV Channel(s): TBD Location: Oklahoma City Game 6 Date and Time: Saturday, May 16 TV Channel(s): TBD Location: Los Angeles Game 7 (if necessary) Date and Time: Monday, May 18 TV Channel(s): TBD Location: Oklahoma City This will be continually updated as the NBA announces TV information and game start times, if necessary, so bookmark this page and stay tuned to Silver Screen & Roll for the latest!
